General:
- Open 7 days from 8am to 5pm (unless adverse weather forces otherwise).
- All pricing is per vessel. We do not charge per person.
- Any rental not returned by the due time is subject to additional fees.
- The Security Deposit is not required until the day of the reservation when you arrive at Skiwi.
- We accept only Visa, MasterCard & Debit Cards. No other cards are accepted
- We do not run your credit card, for the rental amount, until 7 days prior to your booking date.
- Canceling a booking within the the 7 day window incurs a 50% rebooking fee.
- Cancellations will not be accepted within 24 hours of your scheduled reservation pickup time.
- A "no show" will result in a charge. Minimum 1 day rental fee.
- Security Deposits are CASH ONLY
Jet Ski's & Boats:
- All vessels must be towed to the lake. Our trailers can accommodate from 1-6 jet ski.
- Please note: You must tow watercraft to the lake yourself.
(National Park Service law prohibits any rental company towing boats and/or PWC's on to federal property).
- No special licenses are required to operate a boat or jet ski. Rental customers are exempt.
- All operators are required to watch a 6 minute video, covering National Park Service Law & Water Safety, before leaving our establishment.
- Fuel is your responsibility. All jet ski's go out empty and maybe returned empty. All boats go out full & must be returned full. Typically consumption: VX110 13 gal/day, FXHO 17 gal/day, VXR 18 gal/day, Boat 20-40 gal/day.
- For your peace of mind, we provide a Compulsory Jet Ski Collision Damage Waiver program. You pay a $50/day fee. Any damage done to our watercraft is capped at between $500-$1000 depending on model (unless a NPS investigation determines an deliberate act to cause damage or drugs or alcohol were a factor). Our craft are valued at between $7000-$13000.
Overnight (24 hour) rentals:
Two choices are provided.
- Pickup anytime after we open in the morning & return at between 7-8am the next day
- Pickup at 5pm & return before 5pm the next day.
(Additional fees apply in both cases)
Trailers:
- There is no charge for trailers.
- Bumper style hitches are sufficient for single & double jet ski trailer. A Class II to Class IV is preferred.
- If your vehicle is not equipped with a flat-4 light connector, adapters and complete wire kits are available at most auto part stores or U-Haul.
- Our trailers require a 2" ball. If you have a towing package you may borrow one of our slide hitches.
